Hi, anyone can tell me if it is possible to enrol my child to RMPS in July 2012 cos I am living less than 1km from the school under Phrase 2C. 😉

I am also considering RVPS. For RVPS, I am able to register my child under Phrase 2B. But I am afraid that he can't cope with the school work & peer pressure given that the child is not smart. Distance, RMPS is nearer and accessiable. So given the two choices, which one is better RVPS or RMPS?

        Please advise...........

Maybe u try under P2B 1st and if get a place then stay put there...
Or u may monitor under P2C for RMPS...
Which school is more convenient to ur child (distance)

RMPS will be balloting within 1km for P2C.
If u stay within 2km then u got no chance at all.
                  Try other school instead. 😄

Class size will be 30 kids in 1 class for P1 and P2(Maybe)

:slapshead: Is this a case of selective retention of information? 🤷

The big class size only applies to P3 and above. I believe all the schools follow MOE's guidelines in this aspect.

Just to share my own experience, I'm within 1km of Zhangde and Radin Mas and I registered in phase 2B last year. I decided to go for Zhangde as it is within walking distance. After school started, I found to my horror that DS's kindergarten classmates, living next block, are spending 1 hour each way to take the school bus to Radin Mas. That's 2 hours a day 😓 . DS is very thankful that he is not studying in Radin Mas. Do consider carefully as all the time spent travelling can add up significantly over the years.
