      Angelight:
Hi mummies, I'm considering sending DD to PLMGS. How's the study pace there, is it very stressful & competitive? And what are the ECA available? Teachers good?

      Appreciate your reply. ๐Ÿ™‚
      Hi Angelight,
In response to yr queries abt PLMGPS, u can refer to pg 41 of this Forum for some details abt Academics issues and PL Pri teachers.

        Cherubsy:
Wah! Thanks Krazy. It's really nice to hear the the girls are still generally well-behaved. They still have weekly chapel and bible studies right?

The workload manageable? It's quite scary to think how you all FTWM cope with schooling children.. Sigh. Any tips??

Will wait for Kiss to shed more light on PSG ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
        Hi Cherubsy
workload is manageable as of now. Being a FTWM and needs to prepare their dinner after work is really no joke.. i'm glad that i'm surviving it well.

For tips, i personally feel that foundation is very important while they are in k1/k2. start exposing your kid with P1 work when they are in k2 mid year. It helps.

Oh! hmm... according to the schedule given by my girl's teacher, this list will be tested in April. Maybe your girl will get hers at a later date.

yes, my girl is keen to sign up for the Fun gym class. however, the form doesn't state the exact date that class is starting. I left a note for her teacher. hopefully she updates by today. i will post whatever info i have. ๐Ÿ™‚

update from teacher regarding fun gym:
form teachers do not have the info: they do not know when exactly the sessions will start.

i feel that there should be more info given... when the class ends at 11am, there is still a good 1.5hr before sch starts and then what do the girls do? will there be a parent volunteer who will guide / instruct them to take lunch in sch? i dont want my girl to go running around the school and then be caught making noise along the corridor.

yes was also thinking along those lines,

would the child be left on her own after the session ends?
more imptly, how to settle the lunch??
                  :?

HI, had exactly the same sentiments. How about shower facilities? As i believe the girls will be hot and sweaty...Imagine they got to bear with it for the whole day till 6.30pm....

                        hmmm... good question.

Checked with my girl's bus driver regarding transport on the day my girl needs to be early for Gym and realise that the bus operator does not provide such services. we will have to make our own way there.
