      hmmm... good question.

Checked with my girl's bus driver regarding transport on the day my girl needs to be early for Gym and realise that the bus operator does not provide such services. we will have to make our own way there.

        Hi Angelight,
so far, the study pace looks ok, not stress yet.
You can check the ECA availbility on sch webpage ๐Ÿ™‚
Totally agree with the rest of the mummies that the pace is good, nothing too stressful for parents to catch up on.
        Cherubsy:
Wah! Thanks Krazy. It's really nice to hear the the girls are still generally well-behaved. They still have weekly chapel and bible studies right?

The workload manageable? It's quite scary to think how you all FTWM cope with schooling children.. Sigh. Any tips??

Will wait for Kiss to shed more light on PSG ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
You have the occasional \"cat fights\" here and there but it is well-controlled and managed by the FTs. Workload, their school work has been 2 - 4 pages of homework but it shouldn't take up more than an hour of time.

Tips? You will need to build up a routine schedule, saying that I tend to wake DD1 earlier in the morning to finish her work before sending her to BASC. In this case, she gets to have an early night.

PSG, nothing much on it yet except the gathering. I would expect more after the March Holidays ๐Ÿ˜„

I didn't see this list in DD excercise book too...

i didnt see this too. will all p1 class hv the same spelling list?

Weird, as I have the list in DD1 ็ฌ”่ฎฐ. You could email the FT to help check with the Chinese Teacher?

Yup, the list is the same.

        FUN Badminton
I will be signing DD1 up for badminton. The CCA in charge mentioned that the fun activites are starting in Term 2 so that would be 19th Mar onwards.

DD1 has her ballet in school and ends around 12. She said they will head to the canteen for half hour before going to Naomi Hall. There is a teacher around to chaperon so not too sure how it will be for Gym & badminton.

I will be providing DD1 with an extra set of PE kit & wipes where she can change out in school and do a simple body wipe.

          Morning Mummies!

Hope all is well with your DDs! DD1 received her ballet outfit last friday, couldn't believe she only only me last night :faint:

Is anyone following through with DDs on the check point assessment?

I am letting DD1 handle it on her own without extra work for her. Just want to gauge her standard if she is doing her daily revision and ad hoc assessment practises.

            hahaha

Then she is expected to wear it for her ballet classes. So sweet, she must look. ๐Ÿ™‚

            re: check point assessment
except for the spelling and ting xie, my girl is left very much on her own too. We just go through spelling and ting xie together. but in the evenings, we will read either mandarin or english books or play board games.

She has yet to try it own so gonna doll her up on Friday

the leotard is from RAD so curious to know the difference in material.

              Check Point Assessment
:hi5: Evenings are usually for her to finish up her homework and have some \"Me\" or Family time.

              Gym

Do you know if it would be artistic gymnastics? DD2 is curious about it

Hmm.. I think they are thicker. My girl's teacher get the leotards from RAD too and they do not go out of shape nor become so stretched that the leotard becomes loose.

ah... she will be so pretty this Friday. ๐Ÿ™‚

                re:gym.
hmm.. not sure. since it is \"fun\" gym and only for 6 sessions, I am not expecting the girls to learn any techniques.

I see, DD1's current leotard is blue or aquamarine blue so nice to have 2 different colours ๐Ÿ˜‰

Oh, the $60 is only for 6 sessions? I need to check the paper when I get home. Not sure if $75 is for 6 sessions.. gosh... I hope I have not throw the paper away :faint:

                        Hi Mummies,

Is $75 for Badminton & $60 for Gymnastics for 6 sessions. Has signed DD for Badminton.

And I am also in favour of letting DD to handle her checkpoints. So usually will only stay by her side when sheโ€™s doing her homework just in case she needs help. Hopefully, she can manage well.
