      Hi Muffins,

My DS has took the test online but it seems it is a test open to public and that doesn't automatically qualify him.

I am still trying to find out how to get him tested and if he can get into Mensa 😞
Hi kiasimom, this site: http://www.mensa.org.sg/join/, should solve all your problems...

      Cheers!

Hi, I’m also keen to have my kid take the Mensa test too. But it seems that they only allow kids who are 14yrs and above to take the test in Singapore. So now I’m at a lost too.

Actually, you need to send/fax them an IQ test report from a psychologist for kids below 14. The cost is $$$ if it’s at a private practice but a lot cheaper if done at KK or NIE. We have no personal experience as my son is not keen. A friend also told me they don’t have many activities for those below 12 yos because they don’t have that many members in that age group. There is a game Sunday (people get together to play games) every month.

Go to a polyclinic, get a referral. Got to queue for a few months but definitely worth the money saved. πŸ˜‰
