Secondary School Literature

Super Alice:
Hi super Alice,Super Alice:
My son got back the first Literature test and he failed. Anyone can advised how to study literature?
My DS school using The Clay Marble. And saw that the teacher indicate that on his ans sheet not enough evidence. Not sure how to help him.
Seems from your post that your son may not have provided quotations from the book to support his answer.
I have not read clay marble so I cannot refer to the book.
But let's say I take a generic eg, like if your son is required to analyze a character from the book, assuming he points out that the character is hardworking, he needs to explain in what way is he hardworking and quote
a statement from the book to support his analysis.

Can any one recommend an English literature tutor
Thank you -
I think I need to read this thread so that I can help my DS in Literature. Sigh. But at least I have kind parents who share information here.
