in accordance to RV’s letter notification, there’s no change in pricing with the "upgrade" from iPad2 to iPad3. And if you decide to change the model now (i.e. if you had prepaid for it initially) it will treated as a new order and with a lower priority in the procurement process (not sure why so…)

my guess is that for the previous orders, stocks(new ipad) are already secured from the 1st shipment to sg. hence, may have to wait for stocks to be available if it is a new order. as we all know, stocks run out very fast for new ipad/iphone during initial launch.

I don't think we'll be getting the ipad3 so soon. There are thousands to deliver. Heard that Y1 will get it first.
