Where can I find the PSLE results for Bedok Green Primary?
The only schools that are within 1km from my home is Bedok Green Primary & Red Swastika. However it seems to be quite difficult to get into Red Swastika based on history

yes, red swastika definitely need to ballot if you are registering in phase 2c. I think they are slowly reducing their intakes each year to cater for single session. I balloted for my daughter during last year’s registration and was unsuccessful. When I registered in Bedok Green in phase 2C(S), ballot again and was again unsuccessful. In the end, she has to go to a school further away.

Red Swastika School has conducted balloting for Phase 2B (within 1km and 2km) and Phase 2C (within 1km).

This is my biggest worry.
Anyone know under this new scheme, if I am not successful in 2C for red swastika and I need to go to bedok green under 2C(s), will there be a chance that bedok green won't even have 2C(s) if they have taken in PR in 2C?
Or 2C and 2C (s) will be giving priority to sporeans and thus I do not need to worry that 2C (s) for bedok green will not have space?

I tink PR will shun all those super popular schools simce its practically impossible for them to get in. so may be targeting schools like bedok green, those not too bad school. Anyone can enlighten if a PR in 2C have priority over a citizen in 2C(s)? Thanks.

If so, I may just go for 2C bedok green instead of trying for red swastica in 2C and ended up like yr case. Better secure a space first. I don't wish my kid to travel far far for the next 6 yrs.

a) PR has priority over SG ACROSS phase, but NOT within the same phase.


eg. within 2C - all SG kids will enter first, before first PR kid.

however as long as still have remaining seats in 2C AFTER all SG kids had entered - PR kids can still enter 2C fill up leftover seats, before the next phase, 2C Supp come.

phase 2C - parents have 3 days to register.
30 and 31 July 2012, 1 August 2012 (Mon, Tues, Wed)

what you can do is .... wait until 3rd day.
3rd day is the last day of registration for phase 2C, ie. 1 August Wednesday.

On 3rd day, call up both schools P1 registration officer on duty, find out what's the latest Total number applicants (both SC and PRs kids). Best is station one spouse in each school, one in Red Swastika, another in Bedok Green. Phone lines may be engaged on busy registration day.

The final number of applicants disclosed on the spot live scene from Bedok Green will indicate to you - whether you should proceed with Bedok Green in phase 2C or not.

because every year the number of vacancies and number of applicants vary. Right now, can't tell as MOE just changed new rule to favor SC.

Red Swastika (RS) didn't post her PSLE results on school website.
Thus, only way to find out her average T score and %tage Quality passes (subject by subject) is to write in, ask school.
unless parents from RS can share.
