One of my friend told me to send tuition for sci. Her kids haven’t start the sci yet. She has a lack of confidence.she feels that should send tuition and always encourage me to send.

Before the exam i have doubted my son would pass maths exam. Cos he lost marks due to careless mistakes last year. Then this year model qns are not easy.i scared. After the exam bit confident that he will take pass marks.pray and hope.

                    Hello smartmummy :hugs:
SA1 will somehow be more difficult and challenging for our children as it covers more topics. For P4 Mathematical problem solving, DD1's T did mention, \"It is central to mathematics learning. It involves the acquisition and application of mathematics concepts and skills in a wide range of situations, including non-routine, open-ended and real-world problems.\"

Yes, it is definitely a good channel that if you face any questions, you can post the questions here in the KSP forum and many expertises out there will be able to assist you :celebrate:

Let your DS has a break and maybe walk around in the neighbourhood for 15 minutes...take his mind off revision...But definitely NO no for longer play in the playground!

Actually… P5 is going to be worse. I realised that P5 to P4 is a significant jump. I am wondering how my p4 ds is going to cope with P5 next year. Even my P5 dd is drowned by loads of homework. Many a times, we realised that after doing those homework, there is not much time left for exam revision… She still has 1 stack of SA1 top school papers to do and tomorrow is the last paper.

I also realised that foundation building is indeed important. If the foundation is weak, the building will eventually collapse. So it’s crucial to build a strong foundation from young. Unless the child suddenly kai qiao and start to be self motivated and work hard, otherwise don’t expect miracles.

It’s actually scary as in my p4 ds’s class, there are some students who will actually fail most if not all subjects and they are only P4. I really cannot imagine what will happen in P5.

aiyo, why is MOE system one that makes a child fail at so young?

my dd in p4 ca1, she got 65 for math n sci 69.5. i thot was v bad but she told me got pple fail for math n sci. and its the same gal.

how different is p5 vs p4? can enlighten me?
