i have looked thru their exam paper and is indeed tough for all level compare to other primary school. To be able to score well is really an arduous task.
i have a friend whose child had some learning difficulty.
Chongfu has tons of homework for her pupils.
At P3, her child can no longer cope - hampered by his learning difficulty. In the end, she transfered her child out to another school. -
CheekyMummy:
so far, MOE did not post detailed breakdown info by distance on website(< 1 km, < 2 km, > 2km), for ALL schools.
at Phase 2B, will they show what is the breakdown of applicants within 1km, 1-2km and more than 2km on that day? Because that will help greatly in deciding whether to try for the school or rush to another school where I still qualify for Phase 2B...
However, on actual registration Day, you can call up the respective school discreetly find out. The P1 registration duty officer will inform you. -
Primary One Internet System (P1-IS) page is up!
There are 42 schools this year that will have online registration.

Hi, anyone can tell me WHEN & WHY need to do withdrawal?
Hi!
For me I have been advised to register as old girl in my old school CHIJ Kellock under Phase 2A then monitor the situation at my school of choice CHIJ TP under Phase 2B of which I am under 1km.
So if it looks like I am certain of a place in CHIJ TP during the registration on July 19&20, I will have to withdraw from CHIJ Kellock to register at CHIJ TP.
That's why I was asking about the docs req for withdrawal and also the info provided during registration to make a better decision.
Hope this helps! -
Saw the list of schools in P1-IS. One of my choice is in there.
But can this be trusted? What if due to computer glitch, my dd’s enrolment fail?
Still prefer to go down personally to use the traditional method leh. -

i heard it is okay but then last year i dun wan to use the electronic registration cos also afraid of computer glitch.Saw the list of schools in P1-IS. One of my choice is in there.

But if you use electronic enrollment, you will need to bring all the necessary documents during the P1 orientation which are are so noisy plus your kids with you. A lot of time to spend to verify documents which i saw some parents did. If you use traditional methods, all documents also verify beforehand, just need to fill the basic forms only.dun have to bring important documents during orientation cos imagine u going to buy books , uniforms , shoes , etc + carrying all the important documents -

Wah.. no chance liao... Thanks so much for the info!
From my understanding, still got chance. Read MOE website http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/allocation/
After Phase 2A (2), 50% vacancies goes to Phase 2B, 50% vacancies goes to Phase 2C. Then in Phase 2C, below 1km takes first priority, so from my understanding of the system, you have a big chance. Other forum users, pls correct me if I'm wrong.
