I agree that the enrichment classes within school hours are very good. For one the kids don't have to spend extra hours, money and time(travelling) on other enrichment centres. The gals will also get to know each other better since they'll have a better time during their P1/2 compared to the upper pri gals, when studies becomes tougher.
CCA...most impt is the interest...so what if its NICHE and yr gal can't perform to 'Niche's standard...Kids do well and what they like best.

This forum has been rather quiet lately. To all parents of MGS girls, here's wishing all of you a happy and blessed new year! :celebrate:

Mummies,
Are the girls expected to walk up the stairs themselves and fine the classrooms?
My gal is rather timid and doesn’t dare to walk up herself.
Any suggestions how to overcome this?
It’s stressing me out. Other than that, if the maid follows her she is fine. -
Last year I had the same problem…at the staircase closest to the parents they will prevent you from going upstairs from next week. Try to use the staircase inside at the concourse (lift)…I think if you have difficulty they will be understanding and let you go up even from next week onwards. My daughter wanted to be accompanied until end Jan.
Don’t be too stressed, once they get used to school & make friends…they will be fine. My daughter had quite a traumatic start last year and cried for a couple of weeks but once she got used to the school and made some friends she was very happy. The P1 teachers are very nice. -

Thanks for your assurance. I guess I am startled because she didn't give me too much problems at kindy. She enjoyed herself thoroughly. So I can't understand why she is crying again!
Friends wise, she is okay. Just got to overcome her separation anxiety.
Thanks again.
