I need some opinion from parents, between Pei Ying & Navalbase primary school at Yishun, which is a better option to register my boy under phase 2c? And how abt these 2 schools’ CCA?

        Thanks.

                    Hi all,

I am Huamin Primary School's first batch of students in year 1989.I did my PSLE there and came out wif a 244 aggregate. I went on to AMKSS and scored 7A1s and 1B3 in my 'O' levels in Year 1998. Though Huamin is not 'branded', it is still a good enough school. My elder son is attending P4 there now and my younger son will be starting P1 there next year. For me, distance to sch from home is very impt as I am a full-time working mum and my husband works long hours. I do not have a maid and my children are all in student-care and childcare during the day. Near to home means I am able to train my elder son to travel to and fro by himself from P3. Huamin also have their in-hse student-care svc. I would say whether the child will come out good or bad from the sch depends very much on the child's attitude towards the work and the parents' support. I do not think that there are any lousy schools in S'pore. 😂
