        Hi all,

Anyone heard anything about a good place for tuition for ALL subjects in the North or North East?

        Concerned mum

          Hi eyktay

ExtraEdge Science class - I believe this is now taught by a Mr Peter Back who used to teach in Parables at Work. Mr Back was formerly from Learning Lab. Mr Back was also the personal tutor for the RGPS girl (Indian whose parents both are doctors) who was the TOP PSLE performer in the year 2006. No personal experience with Mr Back… was just told by my friends.

              Hi ekytay

Adrian… No idea at all. Was told by fren that TOP Malay PSLE student Haikal from Rosyth was with Mr Peter Back at Parables after he quit Learning Lab… then she asked Mr Back the difference between GEP syllabus and mainstream syllabus since at Parables they used to show the picture of the 2006 PSLE TOP student. Mr Back then said something about key words for Science and then told her that he will be with Extra Edge. And another friend told her that her friends from St Nicholas go to Extra Edge and mentioned Mr Peter Back’s name. Personally I have no experience with them.

                Hi 2centsworthy,

Do you know how much he charges? Does he work with average students, can they improve significantly?

                    Hi,

Did anyone eventually sign up with extraedge???

I called and for P3, they have a current school teacher who is teaching the class. Said to be young and good with kids.

Any experience to share? I am thinking of putting my P3 so that she has a better time learning science.

My friend who initially enquired Extra Edge ultimately did not go there. However I do have a friend and all her 3 kids are special needs kids and all were under Mrs Sim (http://www.perceptum.com.sg). The elder two have cleared PSLE and a good pass for Science. I am not sure whether she teaches Pri 3. My friend's son now in p5 is with her now. My friend is very satisfied with Mrs Sim and I am sure she will be very good for average kids. Hope that helps.
