If I recalled correctly, her first choice is NYPS. I just got the letter for my DS2 today. Yeah, much later than expected. I joked to him that MOE made a mistake with his GEP selection.

so did your ds gave u this reaction :scared: haaaa...Hope GEPers do not have to go thru the stress of PSLE and straight away dsa to sec school. What u think?

May I ask those parents whose children r already in Henry Park - typically which day do they have to stay back for computer enrichment and higher chinese? (must start to logistic - sorry, I'm quite a \"last minute\" mum :!: )

Something is puzzling me - if they have to stay back for HCL, then what do they do during CL lessons? :?

Base on what we got from HPPS during school visit, IRS and Computer enrichment programme both are arranged on Fri afternoon, 1.30-4.30pm. CL/HCL will be on Mon/Tue, 1.30-3pm, I think CL-Mon, HCL-Tue... not clearly stated. So already 2 out of 5 weekdays. Depending on which CCA u enroll your kid, u might need to allocate 1 more day... :roll:

Vlim, DS2 seemed to have a quite confidence about him or he simply bochap - I couldn't really tell. He just waited for the news, not gan cheong at all.
Not all GEPers get thro' DSA to school of their choice. They have to do well in GEP and also PSLE, though I think many have gotten admitted to sec school thro' DSA on the strength of their GEP P5 & P6 results before PSLE results are known.

Nice meeting u too. I think MOE will try to accomodate as much as they can. Really think u can try to appeal with good reasons if your kid is still keen on NYPS.

does anyone know if there will be any orientation before school starts in Jan for NYPS?
