My daughter scored 241 for her PSLE and she wat to put Cedar Girls as her 1st choice. Do you think is very risky.


My choice is ZhongHua. Anybody knows anything about this school.

You have 6 choices. You can put Cedar Girls as no. 1, Zhonghua as no. 2 and so on.


If your score is enough, you will get Cedar Girls, if not you may Zhonghua, and so on.

I am almost in the same situation with you, with my son scoring 240 and putting his first choice as bpghs(244COP).But u have a better chance cause ur dd score is closer to the COP of Cedar Girls.I suggest u take the risk and then go to appeal for that school.u might also wan to bring the achievements(like certificates) of ur dd's CCA(if she has one.) and the prelim results of ur dd(if she scored well)

Zhonghua is a band 1 school despite a lower COP of 238 compared to other band 1 schools which means it can value add to your child’s education. I must say this is definitely an achievement for the school. Dun worry about putting it down as one of your choices.

I just hear that the school is strict with discipline and a friend’s nephew used to study there shared with me it’s a pretty good school. You may like to visit the school on their open house.
