      Hi snowball

May I know is your key-hole surgery the ‘laparoscopy’? Did the doctor only remove your fibroid but keep the uterus?

Do you hear any doctor good at it in Gov hospitals like KK, SGH, NUH?

        snowball:
i have a \"key-hole\" opt to remove a 7~8cm fibroid ( have to cos it grows very fast w/i a year) . my gynae is fr Glaneagle Hosp Dr Chin Yue Ki 64742281

Snowball, her name is Dr Lisa Chin Yue Kim (http://www.doctors.com.sg/dr-lisa-chin.html). Her surgical skills is quite good. Gleneagles and Mount Elizabeth are the two best places for look for good gyne surgeons. Remember you are not looking for the cheapest pregnancy package here, so ask around for the specialists who have done more complicated gyne surgeries. Check out their websites. Check if they are more into obstetrics. Other gynaes focus on aethetics things like liposuction and even selling skin lotions or ant-aging products.

If you are looking for govt hospitals, I would recommend NUH, as they are in an acute hospital with other surgeons who can help should there be complications (touch wood!).

Any hospital in SG has below?

OCI(Oarock Commission International)是奥洛克国际医疗卫生机构认证联合委员会(Oarock Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations

@snowfly You can try Dr Kelly Loi. She’s been my gynae, and I also went to her for treatment when I had my own cycle issues. She’s gentle, explains things in a way that’s easy to understand, and is good with younger patients too.
