Option D is not possible as earthworm has a segmented (muti segments) body.

Yes, that's what I think too. Option C is also not possible as the animals there do not breathe through breathing holes. ^^

I researched online and it turns out that many/most insects, including ladybirds and butterflies, breathe through breathing holes (spiracles). It also turns out that snails have a breathing hole, but it's probably a different type from insects'.

Is this information even in the syllabus? Surely no one would know if snails have breathing holes.

              Hi Haneyi,

I understand your reason to conclude (3) being the answer.
However it is flaw to conclude that statement A is incorrect. Because copper is not a magnetic material and therefore it allows magnetic force to pass through.
What I can say is the the question itself is flawed. Yes? No?

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, I agree with you. Thank you for bringing that point up. πŸ™‚

Hi. Well, for A and B, it does not nessesarily mean that if the breathing rate increase is greater, the more energy is used up. And if it’s the same, it depends on the body itself. The key word is 'based on the results in the table. No inferrence should be done.

I agree cccleo. Okay, to simplyfie it, the higher it is above mid point, the more gp it has than ke. Vice versa, the lower it is from mid point, the more ke than gp
