Can I know if your DD & DS go for tutition? I wonder if I need to put my DS on tutition for P3 onwards? I heard the big jump is at P4, which is a better time to start?

Tks![/quote]No tuition/enrichment for DD so far and she managed well. Think I will continue to monitor her work until she really can't cope then I'll put her on tuition/enrichment.

Btw, which class your child will be in next year ?

Unfortunately or fortunately she did not manage to get into G so she is going 3F. If she's in G class she might be the last in the cream of the crop class lol. But we are very pleased with her overall results and performance in school. When parents from G/F shared with me their kids' results, they were indeed very very close. I heard about 10 or more kids getting the same aggregate in the same class! If you look at their class and level standard, I think the JWPSians are doing very well on average. We can't really gauge their academic based on P1-2 till they progress to upper primary as some are really late bloomers. School is a long journey, we ought to make it a fun learning journey for them and give our best support. After this P2 -> P3 streaming, the tension is lesser but also prepare to gear up for next year, additional Science!

Tks![/quote]Yeah, my DS goes for Tien Hsia, MS for maths.. In fact, he has been with TH since K1..

So far, he is enjoying the enrichments, and I think it's pretty helpful to him too.
