      Hi phtthp

Surprisingly, no one can confirm what the highest psle score was, even p6 students themselves. Some said 275, some said 273.

Not sure about p5-6, but p3-4 students rec a letter informing parents that 3 classes r high ability classes n the rest r the same. The top 3 classes r E, F & follow by G.

      E,F and G are all along d top 3 classes from P3 to P6.

My boy also fr 6E. Only 1 of the 260 scorers was fr 6F , aii are from 6E. The name list of 250 n above was flashed on OHP to show parents n students.

Sorry I do not know d date for d CCA . But all P6 have to stop their CCA only those SYF n robotic or sport cca will continue till competition end . P6 supp class took up 3 days n 1 day HMT so only one day was for d children to slightly relax.

                  Dear mum42

Congratulations! You must feel proud and good of your sonโ€™s achievement.

Could you share with us how did your son manage his study? Did you send him for any tuition? What role do you play in his primary education?

                  Thanks.

                    Dear Mandy,

Thanks, yes I am proud of my boy . He,his schoolmates n teachers had put in tremendous hardwork for d PSLE.

Yes , I sent him for tuitions not because the school teachers did not do a gd job. They have done a fantastic job esp his form teacher n Chinese teacher.

firstly I am not v discipline in time management to actually sit down to guide him . So when I sent him for tuitions he is actually doing revision for 2hrs. I only sat down during weekend to teach him or go thru his practice papers. My boy is a v discipline , so weekdays he will clear his homework n do some extra practice paper fr me or try to clear some tuition works if he has d time if not will skip tuition work .
(Most importantly I do not want to stress him out as the sch teachers had already handed them tons of worksheets)

Secondly all his buddy where having the same tuitions . They actually go there to unwind themselves n the tuition teachers were fun n caring too ,so my boy always v eager to go for his tuition classes even after a long day in school.

I played d role of chauffeur ๐Ÿ˜† sending n fetching him fr sch n tuitions.

I have learnt these since my older boy PSLE n it worked for my younger one. Just listen n hug them a lot or just sit quietly next to the children when they do their work make a lot of different.
