                  Dear All,

Hope the 2 days in school went well. My gorgor in 1F seem to be coping fine. His form teacher was proactive and seek me out for a quick chat on my child during recess time when she spotted me chatting with him. My gorgor is ok with his form teacher saying that she is nice but can be strict when they are naughty which is a good thing.

So far so good for gorgor except during student care where he still needs time to get used to.

I was initially apprehensive with the school but siting though the P’s and HOD’s speeches on the 1st day and VP’s caring assistance in guiding the cars and exchanging with other pupils, I think my gorgor will be in a good hands with less stress and be happy.

Hope all are well with your children.

Hi all, happy to hear that your kids are adjusting well. I’m not sure if I can say the same for my ds.

He has problem waking up in the morning and always complain that he’s very tired. He also look very sad in the morning when leaving us for school and very clingy. He has been forgetting his things in school. Last Fri, he lost a pencil. Yesterday, his water bottle & wallet went missing.

On Monday, he was pinched by a classmate and he did not tell his teacher. Very worried for him as he was not like that at childcare, somehow he seems to forget everything he was taught, like informing the teacher when he’s been bullied and taking care of his belongings. Not sure if he’s too overwhelmed with the new environment & people.

Oh dear… give him a week or so and see how. I have problems waking up my gorgor too as he sleeps around 9:30 even though we tried to put him to bed earilier.

He also mentioned being called stupid by his classmate and we reminded him to say that he don’t like to be call so and to inform the teacher which he did. I think it will be good to record your concern in the pupil journal to get the FT to help, so that the FT and you can help your child to feel easier and get integrated into the school.
