My dd will be going to RGS in 2013. We live in Hougang. Anybody interested in taking a taxi service to school? Heard that comfort has those kind of services.

It is stated in their web page that the school ends at 1.30pm.

my DD took the bus for her 3rd lang class at Newton last yr when she was in Yr 1.

Now that she is in yr 2, does she have to inform the Gen Office that she is still talking the bus ? Will she be given a form to fill ? How do we go about paying the $50 bus fare ?

                Thanks for advice !

                  12am:

For the belt buckle, There are 2 options:
                  1) Buy another separate belt from Bibibaba.
                  2) DIY. The belt buckle can be removed by removing the sewing stitches on the belt (resulting in an 'open hole'). U can then remove buckle by opening the catch (inside the belt) from the hole. Fix in to the desired place (need to remove another stitches on the belt). Sew the two 'open holes' manually or using sewing machine. Think it is not cost effective to bring it to alteration shop.

                  Thank You!

                      Jakaranda:
Hi I'll be joining RGS next year!

Just one question regarding the tennis CCA of RGS.
I did not DSA into RGS and entered through PSLE. However, I am interested in joining the tennis CCA of RGS( I have been training since P3).May I know if I can join tennis CCA when school starts or only DSA-tennis players are allowed in the school team?
When is the training, usually? I heard that it might clash with 3rd language lessons.
Hi šŸ™‚ so sorry if this is a little late! I didn't see your post u until now...

Anyway, I'm a current rgs student (year 2 next year) and I have a friend in tennis cca. It's ok if u didnt DSA thru tennis - there will be cca trials for tennis and all the other ccas early next year. U can sign up for the tennis trials n if u do well at the trials, u can still get in šŸ™‚

Everyone who joins sports ccas at rgs will be on the school team so if u get in thru trials, u will be given a spot in the school team (although it doesn't mean you'll actually get to play in tournaments since only 7 of the 12 member of the team get to play šŸ˜› ...)

Training next yr will either be on mon / tues + thurs (I think, that was my friend's schedule for this yr anyway) plus Friday too during competition season. It's ok if u have third Lang on Friday tho cos you'll be excused from Friday training. My friend has third lang too so she just skips the training anyway.

However, my friend told me that tennis will most likely only accept 1 non-dsa player thru trials next year! That's cos they already accepted like 5 dsa tennis players or sth...

                      Anyway, GOOD LUCK šŸ˜„
