I doubt there will be SMS because when I called the office this morning, I was told that pupils can check their class allocation on the notice board on the 1st day of school.

If you’re referring to the Welcoming Ceremony on the 1st day of school, I don’t think it’s meant for parents to attend, more for welcoming the Marists (S1 - S4) back from their vacation. : ) I believe another separate welcoming session will be arranged for the parents after the orientation camp.

I hv yet to receive too. Actually I did managed to contact one of the staff. Was informed that they will send an sms by late afternoon…but till now…no response…even their school website seems so dated compared to others…wonder what mayhem it will be this coming wed.

must we get the Mac Air from sch? can we get MacBook (hubby says cheaper but contain less stuff) instead?

the science ‘books’ (in book list) is listed as optional, which means ok not to buy at all?

I am not sure about the MacBook but you can buy either option for the science pack,I bought the one with the e book though

I am not sure about the MacBook but you can buy either option for the science pack,I bought the one with the e book though
