25hourmaid - i hope you will sleep well tonight after the frenzy today! Just another update, I know someone who got into NGH at 258 + 2. So can amend your list...(currently at 263)....

Checked with MOE and they said that the official COP of NYGH is 263.

Thanks, I think it is safer to stick to 263, better don't give those with 260 too high hopes, only to be disappointed. Will amend to 263. Thanks again.

        MooMoo:
Thanks to ApronMama for your explanation.

Through this thread, the COP for IP schools are:
        NHS - 258
        RGS - 260
        RV - 251
        RI - 259
        HCI - 257
        NYGS - 263
        ACS(I) - 255 (IB)
        NJC - 257

        :!:
Is the COP of ACS(I) 255 or is it the marks needed to get into IB?

Sorry, no idea. I merely updated the info from the person who posted that COP. Any ACS (I) parents here who is able to help?

It is amazing to see that Cedar Girls' School is the only top school that has its COP increased by 2-point.

All other schools (not just top schools) are having COP reduced by one to four points!!

I think the new facility does play a part and the well organised School Open House did play a part to attract most girls to place it as first choice. :celebrate:

Any other possible or logical explanation to this phenomena? Anyone? :?

Maybe that person's primary school is affiliated to Nanyang Girls' High...

                  Hi 25hourmaid,

Thanks for all your hard work. Need you to update RGS COP. Know of someone who entered at 259 !!! Not sure if there is any lower entry T-score.

                  Cheers! :celebrate:

Yes, 255 is COP for IB program. My son got 254 and offered express instead.

                        JJtrue[/quote]Hi JJTrue,

Temasek Sec is co-ed (or mixed boys/girls) but Maris Stella is boys only school. Secondly, distance from your home is paramount. Thirdly, MS has a affiliation to Catholic High being a Catholic school. So can minus 2 points when applying for CJC after 'O' Level.

My advise is to go for MS owing to affiliation advantage. Final decision is yours.
