Good topical materials for K1 to P6(EMS)?
-
:rotflmao: Hi Parents,
Where to buy good EMS materials from K1 to P6 for topical practice, besides assessment books from Popular Bookstore? :snooze: :stupid:
Thanks -
1. What is "EMS"?
2. What’s with all those smileys?! -
It is English, Maths and Science.
thanks -
I see.

Popular bookstore is the most popular place to buy topical practice books.
Apart from those, I have seen some bookstores sell books by Teachers' Production (TP). I haven't seen the TP books in the Popular bookstore.
Another series I found online, that looked good, was the 'Targeting English', 'Targeting Maths', etc. series from Australia. And happily, I saw this new series in the Popular bookstore yesterday.
Alternatively, you can buy books or e-books from the U.S. Look for books by Evan-Moor Publications or Scholastic Teaching Press.
All the best in your book hunt! -
Are the U.S ebooks relevant to our local context, especially for Maths and Science, they do not follow our MOE syllabi?
Which website to order if needed?
Where to buy Teacher Production(TP) series as you mentioned some bookstores, their locations…?Please pm me the store locations as I need them urgently.
Thanks -

I googled \"Teachers Production Singapore\" for you. The books are available at http://teachersproduction.appsfly.com/Hako.
Are the U.S ebooks relevant to our local context, especially for Maths and Science, they do not follow our MOE syllabi?
I'd say the books are somewhat relevant because in primary school, the Maths, grammar, vocabulary taught is more-or-less the same content. You can buy them from Amazon or The Book Depository. The publishers have web sites for ebooks too.
May I ask why you cannot use the books available in Popular bookstore? -
You are greatly appreciated!
