My dd joined CZ in 2009. During then, they were streamed accordingly to their result of an eng & maths tests taken in the 2nd week of Jan.

This yr, my ds joined CZ. I believe an entry test was given during the orientation and the sch streamed the students accordingly as usual. I asked one of the teachers but she insisted that no streaming was taken placed for P1 & 2 in 2003 onwards. So now, I don’t know what to believe.

Through my experience w CZ, there are good teachers and a few "not good" teachers. You can know who are the good and not-so-good ones by looking at the result of the whole class in CAs and SAs. It truly made a huge diff.

Sorry, typo error. I mean no streaming in 2013 for P1 & 2.

The students in P1&P2 classes are not streamed. But they are assessed for their ability so that those who need extra help will get it. For example, different children have different reading ability at P1, those who can’t read attends a different lesson compared to those who can etc etc etc

Hi, anybody tries sending email to the principal, vice principal without getting any reply? I had sent them an email and even called the school hotline for them to follow up but have yet to receive any reply since early feb.


Can anybody advise if this is a reputable school and whether the teachers & principal are pro-active in terms of answering the parents? I am intending to send my dd to this school but i am feeling a bit skeptical.

The principal does has this problem. She did not reply to my emails too. I did try to contact her several times and finally she replied. She even gave the excuse that the sch computer system is down and she did not get to rec’d the email. She is very defensive & obstinate and I felt that she is not really opened to comments or suggestion. But, overall the sch is good (fortunately)with a team of passionate, committed teachers. So, I normally approach the teachers rather that the principal.
