Any parents - What is your feedback on the school?

My kids both from this sch. Gal jus graduated last yr. Boy in p6 tis yr. It depends on the teachers. PSLE last yr was quite ok around 93%. Highest 273. Was quite gd. Previous yr 265. They hv supplementary classes twice weekly for ALL students which I understand is mandatory as it forms part of sch curriculum.

Not really. Both my kids started frm p3 onwards.

Can I also check what will be their Curriculum be for P1?
cos it seems to vary from schools…
I heard that for one of the schools in Bedok still learning how to write letter A~Z with dotted line.
Another friend’s daughter is having spelling (10 English & 10 Chinese words) every week in one of the Punggol new neighbourhood school. And the English words are not simple for a 6yrs old girl such as "Travelling", "Frightening" etc
Even though both are neighbourhood schools, the two schools are of two different extreme teaching

So just wonder what will it be for Bedok Green?

My boy is in P1 this yr. He is having Hanyu Pinyin spelling of 8 words and English spelling of 5 words (words like crane, helicopter, motobike, trumpet) every week.

I was a student from bedok south primary. Will my child be considered for an earlier phase for bedok green? Thanks

It seems so quiet here during the P1 registration.


Anyway, I just emailed to the school to check if there’s any after school care. I will post the updates here for those who maybe interested in the school.

Bedok Green does not have any in house student care centre. Both my kids are in P3 and P1 this year. I had put both of them at the morning stars student care centre at blk 95. They are being charatered to the student care centre everyday after school.


From my boy’s orientation, the school will be setting up the student care center at the end of this year (part of the school upgrading programme) but not too sure when this will be completed.
