        Hi mummies…

My lil gal will be going N1 next year…
Can any of u advise on the schools below?
I would prefer with school bus and not a childcare centre. Most importantly is the Kindergarten education that they can provide. Cos i think N1 is really just lots of playing and socialising…

        1. True Way Presbyterian Kindergarten
        2. Queenstown Good Shepard Kindergarten
        3. CS Montessori Learning Centre @ Tiong Bahru
        4. Artz Kidz Kindergarten @ Tiong Bahru cc
        5. Lorna Whiston Preschool @ Alexandra

        Thank you very much!

          hi mummies,

my dd, 5YO is with Bethesda Kindy, this kindy is good, the teacher and principal is nice and caring. Academic wise, she learn well. For K1, they have workbook to do, every friday she will bring back her homework to do for both enlgish and chinese. They have enrichment for phonics, chinese, S&D, art, music.

I remembered when my girl was N2, she cried when she perform on stage but the teachers and principal are very encouraging, and a few mth later in her national day concert, she dance well and can smile and wave to me. Now she like concert days. 🙂

On the other hand, my ds is with Moral childcare N1 class this year. The CCC is not bad, the teachers and in charge are nice people. My ds can color much better now and sing well. Maybe the stay at CCC is too long for my son (8-5), until now since he started class in Jan 2013, he has not settle down, he will be moody every morning and sometimes refuse to go to school. May change him to Bethesda Kindy next yr

Recommending JHS Montessori Kindergarten at valley point.

They prepare kids well for local primary school if that is your concern.

My dd is in Queenstown good sheperd kindergarten at Dundee Road and I’m looking for school bus for him. As the school does not have any bus operator, may I ask if any of your children take school bus to nearby kindy such as true way and faith and can the school bus also take children to good sherperd? Any bus operator contacts will be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, my son in K1 in Trueway Presb Kindy. Quite happy with school - find the teachers generally caring and prompt.

My gal should be joining next year too. They have school bus though I don’t make use.
If you are registering for next year, do check it early especially if you want the popular morning slots.

Hi everyone. Im currently looking childcare or kindergarten for my son. Considering between superland, good shepherd kindy, learning vision @ biopolis. Any feedback? Read some feedback from parent that superland is chaotic and dont seem gd? But that was 3years ago feedback, anyone child is in superland? Good speherd, they dont provide bus service. Most childcare dont provide dinner, but personally i hope chilsdcare provide dinner cos given we are working parents…

If care giving for the child is an issue, then childcare is the way to go. Otherwise I think a kindergarten is much cheaper on the pockets.

Alternatively, there is a new childcare called Childhood Builder (https://www.facebook.com/ChildhoodBuilderPreschool) near Redhill MRT that you could check it out. MCYS website has not been updated yet although the childcare has started operation last month.

The environment is good with attentive, firm but fair teachers. There is no TV set in school (they even have a piano!), so I know my kid will not be able to watch cartoons there! *haha!* I even saw a young child who is in the school for the first time settling down by late morning and even ate lunch very well. So I think having experienced teachers, delicious food and small group environment helps.
