Deskjet 1015 - I have an inkjet printer I only us a couple of times a year to print boarding passes and taxes. The problem is the cartridge dries up and won’t print with so long between uses. perhaps you damaged the paper feed mechanism when you yanked out the paper, causing the print out to be misaligned
