Yes apparently the mobile version is much easier to handle and has less functions. These holiday camp providers require your child to use the version on computers.
My daughter was into minecraft a while ago, so we bought some books from the popular bookstore/ carousel and she also picked up some knowledge online. It was quite easy for an independent child who has the interest… systematically following what the holiday programs states one would learn. I can’t comment on the holiday programs, since she didn’t attend them. They are rather costly! -
