      Thanks Choco and A-child.

Glad there is no need to tug in PE-shirt as the shirt seem kinda short and already tapered at the waist anyway.

I called BibiBaba today to find out how to remove the belt buckle to shift and they said it is impossible to do without destroying it. So I just top up with a new bar for the hook. Anyone knows a way to do it? Pliers?

a-child, Your toilet experience at blkD/E is so funny, I must warn my dd.
For the belt buckle, There are 2 options:
      1) Buy another separate belt from Bibibaba.
      2) DIY. The belt buckle can be removed by removing the sewing stitches on the belt (resulting in an 'open hole'). U can then remove buckle by opening the catch (inside the belt) from the hole. Fix in to the desired place (need to remove another stitches on the belt). Sew the two 'open holes' manually or using sewing machine. Think it is not cost effective to bring it to alteration shop.

Queuing for uniform can any seniors advise on how many uniform (Culottes Skirt, PE attire) Thanks 🙂 Especially the skirt; is it required?

Depends on how many times you are washing your daughters clothes. For me, my mum washes my uniform everyday, so 2 sets of pinafore+blouse, 2 sets of PE attire and 2 pairs of culottes and already more than enough. But i have some friends whose parents only does laundry once a week so she has 5 sets of everything :3 For culottes, most likely your daughter will be wearing culottes for the whole of orientation week (week 1 of school), so I advise you buy 2, 1 of the fitting size and 1 of the larger size, because after orientation week, she will only get to wear it 1 time a week, but if you buy only 1, it will be quite dirty if she has to wear it for one week... But if you can wash it in between, then its alright ^^

Thks v m for yr advice. In the end, bought 2 sets of pinafore+blouse & PE attire and 2 pairs of culottes.

not all 255 can get in
she probably just missed by decimal places
      call the school to ask

According to the S1 posting booklet, other than citizenship priority, where there are 2 or more pupils with same rounded aggregate score, the one with the higher unrounded aggregate score will be posted into the school first. If there is still a tie between 2 citizens with the same unrounded aggregate score, then posting will be determined by a computerized ballot.

      Sad Person:

Has anyone used money to appeal for the exam paper to be recheck ?

      And success?Add some marks?

The year I did my PSLE one of the top scorers in my school went to get her paper rechecked but there was no addition of marks.

Heard from DD's tuition teacher that some even got their marks deducted after paper recheck.
