My understanding is sec 4 sit for gce o levels higher Chinese exam.

Gce o level higher Chinese exam results must be Min B4 in order to not take Chinese in jc.

But I am unsure if this is the same for the o levels class.

      Edit :

But I am unsure if this is the same for the o levels class (structured ip).

Is there a guideline on where to drive students to the school...like where to enter and exit during mornings or where to pick up?

Morning before 715am can drive in using gate 3 (along bukit timah road) to clock tower and drive out via gate 2 (it is a loop so back to bukit timah road).

After 715am, can still drive in via gate 3 but cannot drive up to clock tower. Instead you will be directed to turn to carpark where sheltered drop off/pick up area is. Then you leave the school via gate 5.

Or drive in via gate 4 (namly Ave) & exit via gate 5.

If you want to park in the open air carpark at any time of the day, do not park where the yellow barriers (with no parking sign) are cos that is meant for cars to pass through. You will understand after a few trips there.

Once you exit the school via gate 5 do take note of the traffic direction (this short stretch of road from gate 5 to namly ave) becomes a 1 way traffic I think is from 630 to 740am (morning only).

If exit via gate 5 and want to hit bukit timah/dunearn road, best to go via 2nd ave (please Google route).

For me I prefer to drop off at clock tower (unless raining).

Pick up is via gate 3.

For me, I definitely look forward to moving to a single storey unit. The sooner the better. And I hope I can find one that I can live till my time is up.

Need to make sure furniture and layout etc are suitable for old folks to use and maintain with ease. Once I get used to the place, even if my eyesight fail me, I can still move around easily.

At my age I don’t really want to pay more than $3 m for an apartment so I guess it is either an older apartment or an ec.

So many things to finalize before house hunting.
Thank goodness there are house viewing on YouTube.

Hi all, for my next property (hopefully to retire in), I wish to buy one near a PCN (park connector network) so that we can cycle for exercise. Any suggested condo developments (existing ones)?

Had a very nice ride from Satay by the Bay to Marina Bay Sands/Esplanade this morning. Wish we can do this daily instead of just turning into couch potatoes.

Alternatively, any condos with huge internal jogging track or cycling path as part of their facilities, also keen to consider.

Previously considered Pebble Bay area...but open to others.[/quote]

You can check out kallang Riverside condo.

There is a public carpark near it (Google map/street directory).

Was there a few months ago to walk my dog & if I remember correctly can walk all the way up to the stadium and along river.

      But I find it pricey.

We always pay the agent renewal fees (same tenants). We negotiate and settle on a comfortable sum for agent and ourselves.

We don’t deal with tenants directly. Agent handles them most of the times.

Alternatively, PIE → Stevens road → bukit timah.

To me, gate 3,4 &5 all can get to hci international.

But I think the best route for drivers is via gate 4 (namly ave) to get to hci international .

For those who take bus on bukit timah road, then gate 3 where the bus stop and bridge are is the right entrance to go to hci (high school) and hci international.

Hi my gal is going to the JC tomorrow for some holiday class. Can I drive into the school (tan kah kee mrt) side or i can only drop her off at the TKK bus stop?I recalled i used to be able to drive in on Saturdays pre covid.
My son has been going back to school and he and his friends were told to enter via gate 2 instead of the jc entrance at tan kah kee.
      But you can try.

Otherwise she can walk to gate 2. You can still drive in to the school via gate 4 if gate 3 & 4 are blocked.
