Those born in and after 2008 are impacted by the new Chinese Syllabus. Be careful if you are buying 2nd hand books from Carousell. Those born in 2009, you can buy from 2008 batch but 2008 children, they are the first batch taking new syllabus Chinese. I found Popular bookstores are still selling phased out assessment books which should have been recalled. Please check "printed date" before buying. Normally the new chinese assessment books will only be available in end Jan/ Feb next year.

Hi parents! Our children are the first batch taking New Syllabus Chinese. Do you think past years TOP school papers are still relevant to practice for PSLE?

    • RE: DSA 2020 - NUSH

Hi parents! I read some pages of the DSA 2019 and I feel majority of KSP parents have very bright children and mostly DSA to TOP tier IP schools only. I could not find discussion regarding DSA to 22x to 23x schools. This is probably a joke to many but my child is just an average student and no affiliated secondary school to fall back on. My worry is if a supposedly 25x child can ended up getting 22x, a 22x child might end up getting 19x. It is better to DSA for security reason. What kind of results is considered as reasonable enough to DSA to 22x - 23x schools? Any clue?
