We were at the Edusave Award Ceremony because his brother is a recipient. That was when we spotted another classmate getting the Edusave Scholarship and we were just wondering why he didn’t get his.

He was P6. Maybe I should use the term Merit Prize for top 10 in school.

Oh the Merit Award is for the top 10 for his level so that means he is better then the top 10%. Puzzled so I have written in to MOE for clarification. He received his Edusave Scholarship last year so was just wondering why not this year. His classmate is also in this predicament.

No I am not referring to the Edusave Merit Bursary Award. I am referring to the Merit Award for the top ten in school. Doesn’t it mean that the student should qualify for the Edusave Scholarship Award? Thanks.
