Thank you for the feedback. May I know if there's any service or delivery charges? How much is that?

Yup, there's a delivery charge of $10 for order amount $60 & below and $7 for order amount above $60, excluding gst yet.

      I see, thank you. :D[/quote]Welcome~ šŸ˜„

CS & Meidiya also offers delivery for fresh food items but Meidiya's prices, hmm... burns a hole in your pocket. šŸ˜›

I've been ordering dry stuffs from NTUC mthly for 3-4yrs+, but only recently then they started bringing a little fresh foods. I didn't try getting the fresh veggies from them, only bought frozen stuffs.

Still prefer to go to the supermarket and select šŸ˜‰

      bebebub:
I've heard of a hub who, upon receiving a late night order for food from the pregnant wife, takes the order, head out, and then sit in his car for some time, then return home empty handed. He said chances are , the wife would have either fallen asleep, or the craving is gone. He did this after the initial times when he \"gong gong\" went out and then return to find that his wife has fallen asleep.

šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜‰ I belong to this group.. But my DH will wake me up to eat coz he bought already..

Lucky thing is, even after delivery, my DH still willing to go out at weird hours to get food.. And I never ill-treat him k! Coz he gets to eat it too!!! ( I think prob he wants to eat it too.. )

    • RE: PCF/PAP Kindergartens

      nurnurnini:
My MIL have been observing the PCF N1 and N2 classes near my house and this is what she has observed:-

      (a) CHildren are playing on their own (most of the time)
      (b) Teachers \"hide\" at one corner to do their own stuff
      (c) No spelling
      (b) No homework
      (e) Children don't need to carry any bags

So is it really beneficial to study at PCF? Really need some advices
I supposed not all PCFs centres are like that. My girl used to attend 1 which is 1 block away from us. The teachers do make sure that they are learning the essentials and some will even go beyond the PCF standard.

There are some days when the teachers will be busy with the projects for graduation exhibition or even racial harmony days where they will be required to do up stalls and all for fund raising. But definitely its not that often that the kids are left alone to play.

For Nursery level, I don't recall my gal bringing homework back to do coz they usually complete the work in school. And spelling starts only in K2.

From N2 to K2, school bags are essential coz they need to bring books, pencil case and water bottle to school daily.

But coz we are shifting, that's why my boy won't be able to attend his sister's previous PCF.. šŸ˜‰

      Gin:
      Dear Parents,

May I find out if parents in this school are expected to find out from one another about homework? Is there any kind of e-mail communication line with teachers? Is the teacher <-> parent communication ok? Just prefer to have open communication available as kids can sometimes be a little confused or forgetful. Do your kids have something like a notebook where they have to record upcoming events, tests, homework, etc?

I called up MCS on Friday and was surprised to find out that they do not have an 'Open Day' planned for this year. So, will not be able to get a feel of the school before registration for P1 2012. šŸ˜ž

      Thanks for info. šŸ™‚
      Hi Gin,

Yes, the gals each have a pupil helpmate where they will write down their hw or anything the teacher need to inform parents about. Alternatively, u can email to the FT for more information.
