RE: [Bukit Merah] Primary Schools
Dear QMS
I want to register her in RMPS cos I did PV there. Fm all the discussions, I tink that she has high chance of getting in. There are only 32 PV. However, I am so scared that me being a single mom status will lower her chance.. I called the MOE, they said no such things.
I had all documents ready. Quite surprised tho how come RMPS only have 29 in P1..

I am sorry about scarring you Barachan and all others in the forum.
Yes, I too went to collect the PV letter and this time the office staff was nice enough to let me know that after the selection process the PV has been cut down from 56 to 32. The last time I checked with the office they would only tell me that it was 60+ and scared me enough to prepare for backup.witty22:
Dear all
I just received a call from the school. They said PV for last year is 32 not 60. They are preparing PV letters now so we can collect personally at school when its ready.
Very excited about the registration. I had a big problem understanding the balloting chart results. Based on your views, you think my girl has a gd chance to get into RMPS.
I confirmed with the school already that we are not within 2km from the school, but falls under P2B as I did the PV:)
Thanks

Dear Nokyung
You got to keep calling to ask them whats your status now.. Its a terrible feeling if you keep waiting..

Hello All;
I applied for PV at RMPS early this year so far no news from school but I heard from my neighbour that she got a call from RMPS ,
She took 3 days leave to do the PV and has clocked 30 hours.
Does this mean I have no chance for RMPS's PV ?
Wondering if RMPS will inform me that they reject my application or just let me assume that no call mean no hope? :?
Parents who had done PV at RMPS, can you please advise ?
Many Thanks

RE: Market rate for school bus to/fro childcare ctr
I paid $165/mth for a 2-way transport from Cherie Hearts CMPB to Chinatown. Excluding mon morning and fri nite. Any lobangs for cheaper transport. I am quite unhappy about the sch bus as my girl complains that the auntie seperate all kids and disallow them to communicate… Thats nothing I can do now since he is the only sch bus going to CMPB Cherie hearts. Haiz…

Hi QMS
I cloaked my hrs last year but no letter… Now is holiday so nobody picks up tel in sch. Should I go to sch directly once their sch reopen? Do they mail out the letter which states we did PV there?

RE: [Bukit Merah] Primary Schools
Hi BigDevil
Thanks for your reply.
RVPS is less than 2km fm my home
RMPS is more than 2km fm my home but I PVed there
I am afraid I will be ballot out thats y I consider RVPS a safer choice. Shame on me, I dont really know how to look at those charts and balloting results. Thanks so much. Now I am more assured that my girl will most probably be accepted in RMPS.
According to wat you said, RVPS seemed to be more popular than RMPS. What do you think?
