Volunteering work experiences are very well regarded. Im sure such applicants will be able to present an impressive personal statement and content during scholarship interviews
Is it hard to get scholarships without any leadership positions like prefects or CCA leaders?

I’m in no hurry to get vaccinated since cannot travel. But decided to go ahead to book before Sinovac becomes available
Don’t scare MKS lah. Personal opinion, MOH & govt will not release Sinovac until they see more data on the effects & efficacy.tankee\" post_id=\"2019562\" time=\"1617690423\" user_id=\"6927:

Try get the Haoanese Lily bulbs. They’re of very good quality & soft but won’t disintegrate as easily as those China ones when u cook a little longer. Enjoy!
I assume you meant Japanese lily bulbs? May I know where you buy them? Need to soak them before cooking? Pardon the noob question  -

SMU offers Economics as Bachelor of Science while NUS offers Economics as Bachelor of Social Sciences. Is there any significant difference between the 2, given a difference in name of degree?
This are courses offered in smu now , most is biz related degree , but got IT degree too ; that’s seem goodsky minecrafter\" post_id=\"1996103\" time=\"1600852212\" user_id=\"130531:[quote=\"sky minecrafter\" post_id=1996103 time=1600852212 user_id=130531]@MP.
️ if smu offers those courses, I'd prefer smu (though I'd still need to scrutinise their core curriculum more closely). BUT, they're specialised (as the admissions personnel explained to us during virtual tea), so well... 🥰

Thanks, slmkhoo, for sharing your experience. Good to know such info, in case the need to change to H1 in one of the subjects arises.
Theoretically, the H1 is a \"vertical cut\" of H2 - i.e. fewer topics, but the topics covered are at the same depth. I don't know how it is with other subjects, but for Maths, although the content is the same for a topic, the questions seem to be more straightforward (this is what my husband and daughters told me; husband coached one daughter in H1, the other took H2).bebebub\" post_id=\"1958790\" time=\"1578908538\" user_id=\"23820:

May I ask how does this work in terms of content for exam? I understand H1 covers lesser content than H2 of the subject. Will the exam format and marking rubrics be the same? -

DS has friend that dropped one H2 subject to H1 just a few days before A level.
The student has been attending lecture & tutorials for H2 level throughout the year. Just days before A levels exam, the student informs school the decision to drop to H1. Does students taking H2 or H1 of the same subject sit for their respective paper on the same day, at the same time?
Pardon the noob question from a first time A level parent  -

hello all! It has been really nice to see you all here. We can definitely chat more as we kids will be taking A level next year! My son is taking As this year :boogie:
