Hi.
Has anyone bought the school books yet?
Where to get the school uniform? How many sets do we need to buy?
Thanks.
Think we can only buy after the orientation rite? That what the bookshop person told me... Any parents got any advise? -

RE: All About Life Without Maids
Hi all,
Happened to chance upon this thread while searching for the 3m mop… Hehe!
Just said goodbye to my maid a month ago… Now DH trying to adapt to life without maid… (He was the "KING" at hm w her ard since she has nthg to do when we were hm - no young kid look after) While I am just happy life without her… (Scary to know all the stuff she was dng)
I bought the electrolux cordless at $99 which was light & pleasant to the eye (at least not an eye sore)… Though usage onli 15mins, guess gd enuff to settle master rm & living rm… We will zoom ard w it daily… Used it alternate with magic clean disposable wipes. 3m mop works perfectly fine… (Previously also bought the robot vacuum, but many areas it will missed out - unless ur hse is empty)
DAILY:
- DS will take his soiled clothes from his Sch bag, put in laundry basket & prepare his own new clothes for cc…
- He will leave his water bottle for me in kitchen to wash & top up water
Will usually pack stuff while DS who is in K2 does his homework… (8-9pm)
- vacuum, mop
- boil water
- shower
9-10pm: family time (games, read books or tv or fold clothes)
10pm: pack up/ slp while I surf & find hm stuffs)
WEEKLY:
- Washed clothes every wed, fri & sun. DS & DH will help to hang the laundry… and fold. We skip the ironing by hanging it straight after washing… Which works for us!
- use Dettol spray & wipes all tables tops… It leaves a nice refreshing smell…
- mop the floor w 3M mop (with real dettol mix)
For toilet:
- Alternate day use dettol (spray) <Green> bottle to spray n wipe toilet vanity top (1min)
- Shower screen, use white vinegar + water (mix) spray on it. Wipes it dry (it’s sparkle!) (2mins)
- Daily when I shower, I have a bottle of mr muscle or smith toilet washing stuff, jus spray & brush) (1min)
