    • RE: Exemption from MT (Chinese)

      Hi,

My son is P5 now and since P1, he has never passed any of his chinese paper. We have given him private tuition, made him watch as much chinese program, speak to him in mandarin and get him chinese story books to read but nothing works. Under the same environment, my younger daughter (P3) is doing above average for her chinese. Teacher told us to exempt him from chinese last year but we are reluctant. After some thought, we think that it may be a good idea.

      Few questions:
      1) What are the criterias to be allowed to be exempted, other than psychiatric reason?
      2) What’s the procedure?
      3) Is P5 already too late to be exempted?

      Thanks

    • RE: De La Salle

My son just finished P1 from St Ignatius. Language is quite OK for him but he struggled in his math. Sigh… My dad is coaching him and has been giving him papers from other schools to try but he still flunk his math in this final semester. Need to prepare him better for P2. Any advise?

two miserable fishballs & a couple of slices of fishcakes for
$0.50....am just wondering how many bowls of noodles
my kiddo must eat in order for him to be full....sigh.
or prob they will spend their time in the playarea playing

We give our son $2 a day and he mostly come back with $1.30 back. If I'm not mistaken, the fishball noodle is 70 cents and chicken rice is $1.
