    • RE: PSLE Maths 2017 paper

My DD wonders how it can be 10!

The question was : X needs 200 pieces of ribbons each of them measuring 110 cm. Each roll of ribbon has 25 metres. How many rolls of ribbon are needed?
      200*110= 22000 cm ( 220 m)
      220/25=8.8 which is approximately 9

My son’s class in RI has 8 'B’s ; what I heard was around 70% A for the whole cohort.

    • RE: Raffles Institution (Year 1-4)

A general query- my son is in Year 5 and I want to know what to do with his NCC boots; there are two pairs and it is taking up quite a lot of space 😞 My son says it cannot be disposed off like any other ordinary pair of shoes. Anyone has any pointers ?

Wow! That's good Piggylala....my son did quite well in Maths 1&2 but I am not happy with his Physics and English results. He says that the results are bad generally, including a few failures in his class 😞 Nervous about Chemistry too. Seems the teachers said that only 7% of the entire cohort has managed GPA 4.0
