Hi Myteapot, do you know the school uniform supplier? Tried to check from their website, but didn't indicate.
Hi BrieBee, we have only bought the uniform in the school, together with the textbooks purchase. Never tried going direct to the supplier...

If you don't buy from school, you can get those from Bata... as long as it is plain black/white shoes... Suggestion: don't get too expensive ones, especially for boys... heard a lot from my friends that their son's shoes can last for like only 3 months and need to change liao cos damaged... good times, lasted 6 months... :slapshead: so end up, they buy from taobao... cheap cheap... Also, check if you can let your child wear those white socks with black/grey/navy base... easier to wash...
:faint: lots of investment haha. Yeah, just get cheap cheap one. -

RE: Anchor Green Primary
Saw from the website, it seems that black shoes with white socks. Will need to try the uniform during orientation day. Some parents suggest 3 uniforms + 3 PE uniforms. But if no helper at home, might want to buy more.

Thanks! I read that 2 sets of uniforms and 3 sets of PE uniform will also do for those who will do regular laundry. I think I might get 3 sets of each hmm. As for shoes, it's been a while since my time and I hear that kids can wear white or black (depending on school) sports shoes to school now? No need to just wear those canvas shoes? Would like to get something with more support for my son...
Good advises for both. Will just need to see which one more comfortable for each parents. I might go with 3 sets each too. For shoes, do we need to get from the school supplier too or can get from outside shop as long as black or white?zac's mum:
Quick check also on the uniform, how many sets do we need to buy based on experience of parents in this forum?
For FTWPs without helper, I strongly suggest 5 sets of uniform and at least 2 pairs of shoes. If your budget is not too tight.
Then you donβt have to wash anything until weekends. Saves you untold amount of hassle and time during your precious weekdays :imcool: -

Great advice, thanks for sharing! It's my first time with a kid in Pri school so from what I understand, we are to bring our kids with us for orientation but it will be be a madhouse with parents and kids trying on school uniforms, etc. So if you know which uniform supplier is assigned to your child's school, you should make a separate trip down to try the uniforms instead of rushing on orientation day.
