Total 68 applications: 66 applicants <1km, 2 applicants >1 km

last year 2C total applicants is around 823, this year until ytd only 627.
And until 2B in 2019, the turn up is actually 230+ lesser than 2018 people.
Overall intake in tampines cut by 180.

If i assume govt's internal stats is super accurate, then around 200 plus should still yet to come out.

Total number of vacancies for schools in Tampines: 327 (as of ytd update).
Looks like no problem to fulfil the needs of Tampines residents

I just went ahead and registered P2C for GSPS <1km, backup is TNPS <1km for 2CS.

For the online update on the p2C registration tonight, will it only reflect applications till 4.30pm ?

There seems to be a disadvantage for parents who can’t physically monitor and

register at a school for P2C (that may require balloting)
Online registration ends at 4.30pm on Wednesday, 31 July 2019’
while
Registration at school ends at 4.30pm on 1 August 2019
