Hi, may I know if there is any student care around the school? Need to look for alternative in case my child is unable to get into the student care inside the school.
Thanks.

West Spring Primary School:
Celynn:
Hi, I saw the letter with regards to the Art Enrichment Class on every Tuesday from 2pm to 3pm. May I know what about those students who take the school bus home? Will the school bus be able to pick them up at 3pm from school? Because both my husband and I are working thus will not be able to fetch her back at 3pm by ourselves.
Dear Celynn,
The registration for the first enrichment programme was during recess today.
Thereβll be a few more such sessions such as a problem-solving course, Wu Shu / Lion Dance & Calligraphy. These were the most popular courses that our West Spring parents have expressed interest in based on our online survey conducted. These classes are tentatively slated to begin in term 3, week 1.
As for your bus transport concern, please do contact JK59 Transport Pte Ltd at 6465 5959 as the company needs to find out how many students need the service.
Hi, I called JK59 Transport and they told me to let the teacher know if we require the special arrangement then the teacher will arrange with them. We would also have to pay an extra fee for this special arrangement. BUT they currently have no plans to do this at the moment. My child would really like to attend the Art enrichment class but I don't think we would be able to register her for this as there would not be anybody to fetch her back after the enrichment class. It is such a pity. -

Oh, don't be sad. Cheer up. there's always something better out there waiting for you. I hope your daughter gets a school she is happy in. I remember when i was not successful for MBS (21 for 17 seats), i was so upset. But my friends told me \"when one door closes, another opens\". And yesterday, i was balloted in (46 for 12 seats)! You never know what's gonna happen. Just submit your waiting list form to your choice school. Good luck!![/quote]Thanks for the advice and encouragement, mummies! I went to CCK Primary School to request to be put on waitlist but the lady said they do not have waitlist because usually no one will withdraw from their school. I said maybe someone will study halfway into the year and for some reason need to withdraw to go to another school? But she refused and insisted that no one will withdraw from their school. I left disappointed.
I have been crying whole day yesterday until my eyes are swollen. :gloomy: Not idea why but the tears just keep dropping. Didn't know it will have such a great effect on me. Maybe cos its my daughter's bday today and I felt bad that I couldn't let her enter the school that she wants. Now I really have no idea where to register her in 2CS as my other choices are either filled up or only left with few places. :faint:Celynn:

try to avoid balloting.
Enter a school that has vacancies, < 1 km from yr house. Then fill up transfer form, to more than 1 school, that you like. Try to help yr child do well for p1, do not give up hope. Continue to pray. Cry if you
Must, if tears can help you relief your sadness, disappointment, grief. Is better to let go yr emotion, than bottled up all inside you, ESP. Fathers.

Hi duckeroo, I'm also in the balloting next Tue. Really stressed. :nailbite: Took me so long before deciding to go for SV! Keeping my fingers crossed! :xedfingers:thks for everybody's replies.
in the end i went for SV cos when i was there enquiring a few parents suddenly walked in to withdraw so this year's odds r much higher than previously.
final figures from SV
vacancy: 46
SC, <1km: 85
now i'm crossing fingers and hoping for the best next tuesday
also a parent i met at SV told me tt DLS left only 1 seat for SC 1-2km as of 410pm.. :yikes:
