My colleague got her Myanmar maid from them last year and seems that she’s quite satisfied. She used to have lots of complains on other maid agencies that she engaged before as she complained the staff were either rude and don’t respond when she called / gave bad attitude etc. However she said for this agency, the boss actually handle the calls on his own and always responded promptly and solved her initial communication issues with her Myanmar maid. She recently even told me this Myanmar maid which she took from them is the best she has ever hired before!

I am not satisfied with my Indon maid which I got from an agency in Grandlink Square last year and thinking of switching to Myanmar maid so likely trying this agency if my Indon maid pissed me off further…

All my 3 maids will go out ard 10am and I told them to be back by 7pm.

Only my 2nd Pinoy maid will break rules at time and text me ard 4pm+ to extend for another hour.
The other 2 maids will always be back before 7pm…

Great to hear that! The MOM officer whom I spoke to yesterday is not so helpful. Still tell me I cannot do iSubmit due to the transfer maid condition. She said I can only do iSubmit on the condition if passport or medical report is not ready... :scratchhead:

Finally the old maid's WP is approved! The new agency did the issuance and she said there is no overstay fine :rahrah:

I have no objections to my helper rebonding and dyeing her hair. However, I made it clear to her that it should be done on her off days after

I caught her doing it once at home.

Came home unexpectedly and found hair dye splattered
All over the floor. She has dyed her hair again!! This time, dirtied the floor too!!!

She was unapologetic. And this is one week after asking for a transfer which I rejected.

She is a transfer queen. Am third employer over a 12 mth period.

But aren't you worry to let her stay on since she already have the thought of transferring?
Don't know whether she will still do her job well..Really having maid is a pain but can't live without one now... :slapshead:

I also called up MOM this morning and the officer just told me I will have to bear the overstay fine if the new maid's work permit is not submitted online tomorrow but she refused to tell me how much, only said between $100-500, subjected to the length of overstay.

So I called my old agency and chased and said if not transferred out from my name, will cancel the work permit in the evening. A few hours later, the old agency called and said they have transferred her from my name.

I dont bother where they send her since it was done by them in the system...as long as can transfer out and apply for the new maid's work permit, i am relieved..

Pinkybear, hope your case will be resolved tomorrow too since Thurs and Fri are public holidays and they cannot apply online on these dates while MOM still counted the public holidays into the overstaying...

I found a MOM officer who is very helpful. She said I will not subject to the overstay fine and the IPA will not be revoked.
The IPA will be revoked in the 3rd week of Aug. What a reflief! I think my iSubmit got approved.

I can only cancel her WP at 5pm tomorrow accordingly to the old agency, they need 1 more day to buy medical insurance.
I will go to the old agency to collect all my refund and also the levy fee incur to me.

Understand from chixchix's post earlier MOM has an unspoken grace period of 7 days..
My old agency told me if he cannot resolve today, he will proceed to cancel for me and send my previous maid to Malaysia on social pass for the time being. Hopefully he really does it but it's already 4pm now and still never hear from him :stompfeet:

Today is the 14th day of my new maid's arrival. I called up MOM, different officer said different things to me. I asked when will the IPA expire. Is it really 14 days after arrival? One even said you should check with your agency, since you paid them for such service. The rest said 5 Aug is the last day, I will need to pay overstay fine but not sure how long is the grace period given by the review officer.

My old agency told me it is illegal to bring the maid to Malaysia. She would not do this.

My new agency said I should collect cash from the old agency... what if they went back their words. I went down to the old agency and demanded them to pay cash in advance for the overstay fine. I said by tomorrow if the new WP is still not approved, they need to transfer the maid to their names. They agreed.

Then the old maid saw me and said \"Hi Madam, please send my regards to Grandma\". I am :mad: She only worked for three weeks and want to change employer. She said she did not know it's 3 storey house. She is working with my other maid. :stupid:

Yes I wrote a detailed story in the document and attached in iSubmit. The file must be in pdf.
There is no part 2. Just fill up in iSubmit - Your Particulars, Your Work Particulars, Your Message and attach a pdf file.

Up to you. If work permit cancelled, they can go to Malaysia on social pass then re enter. Don't need to be too nice to the old agency.

Oic but i also dont wish to go to this extent since my previous maid no matter what still helped me take care of my son till 2 years old. Wont want to unless really near dead end...
