Hi all
Has anyone received an invitation to participate in the psychometric assessment exercise today? I understand this exercise is usually carried out in March but apparently emails were sent earlier today to some selected students for a scheduled date of 1-8 Dec. It seems terribly early and my DD has only just finished PW oral presentation today. Please share your experience and help us. Thank you very much

Do not give up hope. Even as the medical check ups and sureties submissions are being done this week, there are some uncertainties for the NS disruption for those boys whose BMT were delayed due to Covid19 and are in the midst of BMT now.

Singapore med schools are not easy to get in. A few doctor friends send their children to overseas med schools as well. So congratulations to all with secured places. Good luck to wait listers. And there are always other med schools out there otherwise.

I will do the same. Disruption in this case is extra 6 months NS. More relevantly this year with the pandemic disruption many are already taking a gap year so it seems like serving out the remaining 7 months makes great sense. Starting med school next year will mean no restrictions on lectures and other activities like white coat ceremony and CCA etc.
Decided Not to accept the offer of disruption . Ord first. Study next year -

Sorry my mistake. Thought the required signed letter of undertaking refers to the formal acceptance of med school & bond matters etc which we have yet to receive. I understand it must be the mindef NS disruption letter of undertaking. Mine is daughter so blur2.

Have the documents been sent out by the schools? It seems a very short notice.

Yes if he has accepted YLL, the decision would have been final. Also the hostel application deadline is over for the 1st round acceptance. But imaybe that is subject to NS disruption approval for your case?
