ksunflower:I also want to know the colour and design of the new uniform. Hope it is cool!VinEveShan:Wow...that's indeed very steep. I'm also taking some time off work next week to have a look at a few centres and decide then. By the way, the last thing i heard about Yew Tee pri is the school uniform will be changed w.e.f. next year, which is good. Shoes remain as black though.
Hi VinEveShan,
What will be the new uniform. Is it still maroon n cream?

hi chwoo,chwoo:
I know Agape has a Student care and childcare near Yew Tee Primary School. Can check that out.
Yes, I have checked out both the student care and childcare. General impressions are quite ok. Just a little unused to the student care being at the basement, while the child care fees are rather steep - $1,000/mth.
I visited agape many months ago but thought that their fees are below $1k. is it covering additional fees as well?
Basic fee is $1,000. Feel it is too ex for a childcare centre located at the HDB.

My daughter will be at Yew Tee P1 next year.
More to come...any good recommendation for Student care centre in Yew Tee area? Was thinking of either Growing Up or Pro-teach..Is anyone of your kids in either one of these 2 centres? Please share. :))
My son will also be at Yew Tee P1 next year:). Also looking for a good student care. I have more headache as my younger son is now at a childcare centre in Keat Hong. So might need to look for another childcare centre near the student care centre or vice versa. -

Hi, all the schools presented the psle results in different ways. Yew Tee did show their results in the school's web site but u need to search for it. I even counted the no of top scorers shown in the banners outside the schools.Hi chwoo, where do I check the academic results for the schools? Any other have kids studying in the schools?
And I saw the balloting for Unity & Yew
Tee Pri. I thot Yew Tee is a better school but Unity actually has more people vying for the plc?
I think both unity and yew tee are similar in terms of popularity. Perhaps more residents are living closer to unity or they have other preference or the general perception that unity is better..... -

Hi thks! Am comparing both academic & cca. Not sure if I m too idealist, looking at a more well rounded kind of sch...
I think Yew Tee is better than De La Salle and Unity if just looking at the academic results. For PSLE 2010, they have 20 students with >260 scores and 16.9% >250 scores. -
RE: [Choa Chu Kang] Primary Schools
So yours will be Phase 2A2.If I were you, I will go for BPPS as it is confirmed. Distance wise, it is not near but not too far either. Perhaps you can go for waitlist in either Yew Tee or Unity and tranfer out of BPPS.

Hi,Hi,
can someone advise me to get into Bukit Panj or Yew Tew Pri or Unity?
i was staying at cck cres where can go BPPS in 2B. Shall i choose to YT or Unity where is within 1km?
Distance is the concerns to me as i checked it need a hr for traveling to bpps.
We are pretty much in the same situation. Are you still living in CCK Cres?
I am a PV at BPPS and aiming for Phase 2B but highly likely to need balloting or even no chance for balloting as there are too many PVs. Both Yew Tee and Unity also within 1km of where I live. My own preference is to go Yew Tee as I think it is also a good school (not too sure about Unity but seems not too bad either). Both Yew Tee and Unity need balloting as well..sigh
If you confirm eligible for 2B then can try first but not guarantee. If not, then not much choice and need to try luck at either Yew Tee or Unity. -

You can call or drop the school an email to enquire. The school is a bit slow in responding at times but you should be able to receive a reply.I have applied for PV in BPPS few months ago (for baby born in 2006). I haven't hear back from them for long time. I would like to know:
1) when can I get the out come?
2) when the school receive our application, will they send us the acknowledgement?
Thanks a lot.

Yup, got the official reply from the VP that they only accept the official TOP datechwoo:
Now staying in choa chu kang. Have bought a new property <1km from the school but official TOP date is 31 Dec 2014 although should be completed much earlier in 2013. However this was not accepted by the school.
Have you call the school?
For my house its TOP date is 2013.
Where did you buy?
For admission in 2012, they can accept TOP date no later than 31 Dec 2013.
We bought the Tree House condo at Chestnut Ave but likely to sell it if kiddo not going to study in BPPS.
