Me. My 3rd child is born in 2019. I was hoping to find some playdates for her. Kind of difficult during this Covid-19 pandemic time, but I am looking at some other social interactions apart from her sisters and her.

RE: NurtureStars Childcare
I have been to Nurturestars TPY twice for a visit. I also emailed them once and called them twice for more enquiries and was attended to.
I spoke to Yoyo and also Jen, the current Principal there.
I am rather impressed with the bright and clean environment and also the meals. They have a healthy selection of food. The normal naptime is 1-3 pm and I was told that the children will only be shown TV after 6 pm (while waiting for parents to pick up).
I haven’t really looked at the detailed curriculum yet but I think Kinderland is an established center. I am not too worried.
We can use the CDA account for the monthly school fees as well.
Overall, I have positive feelings about this school. -

They don’t have a website. -
RE: Marymount Kindergarten
I am interested to register for 2014 Pre N class. May I know how much is their school bus fee? (2 way)
Thanks. -
RE: Brainy Child Montessori
I have good reviews about the teacher. She has 10 years experience teaching Montessori. I attended the moms and tots trial and I love it. It is too bad that it’s quite far from my place.
The receptionist even asked if they do change their timing (earlier), would I be keen to join. I told them that I would love to, but I really cannot afford 25 minutes travelling there and another 25 minutes back home.
My daughter will sleep in the mrt (nap) on the way home and when I reached home and put her down, she will cry and fuss. I want to avoid such a battle, otherwise I really recommend this teacher. -
RE: Ykidz Montessori
I attended the parent-child montessori class during the weekends. There is only one other boy and my daughter in the class. I signed up because I stay in tpy and have intentions to pur her in the daily playgroup class. I paid for 12 sessions and so far I have attended 5 sessions.
I would say that even though I have paid in full, I have decided to stop bringing my daughter for the remaining sessions. My hubby and I have rotated between us to bring our daughter there and we think that we do not want to go there anymore.
I have been to two other Montessori schools elsewhere (out of tpy) and we are disappointed with Ykidz.
The teacher is a new teacher who has 1 year experience of teaching and she is not engaging in class.
Most of the time, it gives me a feeling that she is unsure of what she is doing.
The cleaner auntie will clean toys used by the daily classes at a mere 2 meters away from us (distracting and somewhat irritating).
The older group in the other classroom who are having art lessons will walk pass us to wash hands because of paint etc. (distracting again - because my child will follow)
The musical instruments that were used - some were broken and rusty (I thought they should be thrown or kept away).
The positive feedback I have is that they checked the temperature and sanitised hands the moment children enter the school. The teacher is caring and she loves kids.
