Hi, is the NUS waitlist send out? Anyone receive the notification? Thank you.

My son is still waiting, application processing but no email... Your child has any notice? They sent out wait lists on Monday and Wednesday, not sure about now.
Am still hoping for the best.

Did he put in other choices besides medicine in his application?

Not sure if congratulations are in order, but at the very least application status has been updated - so congratulations and all the best!

Don't think so. My son and friends, they attended NUS MMI interviews on the same day. My son was notified of his result and then offered him the second choice to study Science. Some of them still awaiting till now but only one got his notification at 6pm yesterday and being offered a course to study.

I suspect there is some backstage sorting out. Imagine one person has opted all the popular courses under his selection options then it will take some time for them to release you the outcome if medicine is not being offered.

For example he chooses popular courses like 1) medicine 2) dentistry 3) Law 4) computer science, and vice versa. These poses an option offering delay as each courses have to be submitted to respective department to find out the availability of slots. This is only my evaluation.
I would suspect that if the candidate was not shortlisted for the interviews for dentistry/law then they probably won’t be offered these courses even if they weren’t selected for Medicine.

Of course, this is also an assumption based on peterfamily’s earlier post where he mentioned that his child was selected for both Medicine and Law interviews at NUS.

Please correct me if I misread his post and got the facts wrong. 😓
