Hay's used to sell them in supermarket, but recently I can't find them on the shelf, why ah? anyone knows the reason? :?

We used to visit Hay's Dairies. They deliver to selected areas.

If I did not remember wrongly, Hay's does not use preservatives. Maybe that's why cant sell in supermkt since the shelf life is quite short.

We can only drink Hay's while it is still chilled, else the smell @ room temperature is quite strong.

Fu Hua is also selling bottled goat's milk. I tried once, stronger smell than Hay's.

Can only get from Prime Supermarket. (Local farm production, limited space 😄 )
But not many Prime outlets around Singapore, lucky if you have one near you that sells. Alternatively can try buying from their online store - http://www.primeonline.com.sg.

So as long as it doesn't affect us, we should pretend not to see?

I didn't make a big deal about MRT fares. (The fare hike comment is meant to \"provide some motivation for the management to do better\"). Actually I feel the fare is manageable.

But I feel the company's incompetency in maintaining the system is a concern.

And yes I am frustrated with the public transport system as a whole (buses).

And if the MRT were better, I could take the MRT. I didn't take it bcoz it is that bad. Now is that a valid reason for a complain?

Of course one is always free to comment, but the veracity of the critique or comment is necessarily related to the direct experience and/or inner knowledge of the system, yes?

For instance, I took your comment about the WP holders and false certs because you have direct recent experience of it, and it is indeed of grave concern.

But if you have not taken the MRT for a while, I'm not sure how well placed you are to call it bad.

There was someone else (concern2?) who mentioned that people were being denied medical care because they were not able to pay, but I refuted that because I know the MOH bends over backwards to make sure medical care is accessible to all, and on direct querying, admitted that it was not a direct experience but hearsay.

You are of course free to comment, but in lieu of inside knowledge, it's tough to see how seriously to view it. There is a major problem if one incident gets repeated over and over and each represented as an actual occurrence as it gives a wrong impression of the gravity of the situation.

EXCLUSE ME, THAT'S NOT WHAT I SAID HOR!!! :nunchuk:

I said some older folks have to use their children’s CPF to pay medical bills, and some who have used up all their usable CPF for medical bills go untreated, and you asked if I was personally denied treatment, and I replied “No, it is people I know”.

I am one of the lucky ones to live humbly, optimistically and healthily. And I happen to come from a diverse family background where I get to see 2 extreme lifestyle of Singaporeans. One extreme side of my family members face this problem.

Pioneer package? Ok, it helps. For a brief period. But thank you so much, medicine also increase in price. So after discount, you still pay the same amount. But luckily for pioneer package hor, if not have to pay more!! Old folks lament to the nurse, but it isn’t their fault. Go look for your MP lah.

Also, I take public transport everyday. I am one of the rare ones who would look at strangers in the face and smile. I talk to old folks, and I hear about their lives. It is strange how fast old folks open up to you when you are a nobody and when you speak to them in dialect. So are these cases supposed to be hearsay??

And yes, I encountered transport delays (3 times in a year to be precise). You want to try walking on the LRT track? It is very exciting, you know. I don’t mind the occasional thrill actually. And when it stalls the next time, your mind starts to race. What should I do now? Wait another minute? Seconds tick by. Silence. People start looking at one another. Haiz, not another episode! Why isn’t it moving? The next crowd of passengers start to gather outside. Suddenly the doors fling open, and the crowd pour in. The doors didn't close. Silence. SHARKS!! ITS FOR US TO GET OUT!! Thereon, the only thing in your mind is the punch card machine at work and alternative route. Other days are just how hot the weather is these days. Quite a break from the usual mundane life, actually.

Oh, oh, and why didn’t anyone in KSP also come up to share their PERSONAL transport woes at KSP? Someone I know passed away recently. Husband left her body alone at home to take bus to another relative’s house to inform them. Why? Because he didn’t even have a house phone at home. He lived in Toa Payoh. After 6 months of living alone, he, too, passed away. You think everyone can pounce on the keyboard like the rest of us? Just because nobody come up and tell you their PERSONAL stories mean it is all just hearsay? Many people struggle to make ends meet. Few people like to share their sob stories in details. They can’t make speeches. Many are illiterate and need their children’s or nurses’ help to understand their letters from the various ministries. And what do educated and capable do? They recognise heaven when they see it. So they don’t need to look back anymore.

I can be coy but that doesn’t mean you can go around twisting my words hor. I have a C2 brand to uphold in KSP, you know! :imcool: Even if I decide not to write on KSP one day because some people think that they can recognise heaven and others cannot, if I see anything that is not right, I will wake up from my dead account in KSP and use my nuchuk emoticon and give some people a good knocking on the head!! :nunchuk: :spank:

And yes, occasional AY isn’t too bad. You need to use the 按-摩-椅 (An-Mo-Yee) to de-stress sometimes.

Which is why I say we should not message by soundbites (whichever party), that goes for the speaker and receiver equally, pro-oppy/pro-PAP equally.

Good to hear this from you!

It may surprise you that I was very anti-PAP in my younger days. However I have developed a much greater appreciation of what they do and why they do it, which is why I now find a lot of the anti-PAP sentiment very uninformed and unreasonable, like I was early on.

Just so you know where I am coming from.[/quote]Aiyo, liddat you sound like you are always slower leh - when people agreed with the PAP, its because they understand and appreciate what the PAP govt is doing is good for the people, but after PAP got a bit complacent and started slacking, and funny things start appearing here and there, quality of people and candidates also not quite up to expectations, then you start supporting PAP ... 😓

Admit it - you just like to have a more balanced view! :nunchuk: ..... :pokeeye:

I can't find back the post where someone said 2 social media sites are extremes - The Real Singapore and Fabrications of the PAP. So the former is gone, but the latter stays. Hm...I suppose this will fabricate more pap supporters.

Well, I said it. I'll also add that one website makes you stupid, the other page thinks you are stupid.

It's good that TRS is gone, but it won't be gone forever. We are living in a time whereby \"if they cut off one head, two more shall take it's place... Hail Hydra!\"

Share a piece I read elsewhere:

      Calvin Cheng

I am distraught that Minister Lui Tuck Yew is stepping down....

\"Whenever a train broke down, he was abused. Whenever, bus fares went up, he was abused. Whenever COE results were announced, he was abused.\"
This is something only those who depend solely on public transport to move around and squeeze during peak hours will understand. To me, all these only spell one thing - that the people feel helpless, powerless, and of having any faith that things will ever change for the better.

Also, IF today, what came out in the headlines was that there were casualties, will we be pitying the Minister? 🤷

\"And if we get second-rate leaders because of this, Singapore deserves it.\"

LKY admitted himself, that someone else in his team was better than him. But what he do? He put him behind bars. Then he got stood up. And he cried on National TV. So we have already put up with having \"second-rate people\". But who knows, maybe because of that, he became better than he thought he could be. 🤷 You will never know till one is put to the test.

:nailbite: If you don't hear from me from now on, you know where to find me.. :siam:

It might also have to do with the roles they were playing. I think anything they say would be warped out of shape by the people who are just out for blood. Less said, less damage control.

I don't think that is the right attitude or even the right thing to do as representative of your constituents. Otherwise, they may as well place this in the seat:

Cheaper and just as effective. No one would probably notice since they all don't talk.
