As somebody who took the test and entered GEP 3 years ago, I remember getting an envelope in the mail with a letter inside that informed me of the fact I had gotten into GEP. It seemed to be a really thick envelope too. I’m not too sure if this is how they inform parents and the students of whether the latter had gotten into GEP, but I don’t think this method would have changed, since it has only been 3 years. Since this "screening test" is on a larger scale than your usual school exam, I think the school wouldn’t announce the results but instead, MOE directly sends you a letter.


Just a disclaimer, this could be very, very wrong and I could be behind the times. I haven’t exacly been keeping up with the screening tests lately due to PSLE.

What is the proper phrasing of the answer for Definition of temperature?

Some said to state it is the measurement of heat (omit any mention of coldness) whereas others said to state the measurement of hotness and coldness.

According to my Science teacher, coldness isn't a word/isn't the most suitable word to be used here. The simplest answer for PSLE is \"a measure of how hot or cold something is\" (keep in mind this isn't the actual definition in thermodynamics and stuff but it's just for PSLE and that temperature is NOT heat).
