Is not strange, dun worry. Its very common for us.It can happen anytime ,anywhere. If you can,(gt time) try to note down things that you eat/ been to/touched whenever you kena feng mo. Then ,aft a month or two,try to find out what is the common thing that you do juz b4 your feng mo happen.so next time you know what to avoid to prevent it from occuring.
have creams for Feng Mo??
i understand that some people link feng mo to allergies, but i have very frequent feng mo (i think that's it ba). it can come and go in 5-10min and can be at any part of me except my face. it usually appears when the weather is cold/or i'm cold in air con room. is that strange?
As for cream,I dun have, you can check with schellen. What i usually do is wet a towel ,wipe the affected area,so aft it cool down,it will slowly disappear..if not,i will take pills (anti itch) -

Yeap,Moisturise moisturise and moisturise... I avoid staying under the sun/sauna for too long,if temp is too high...my body will start the hives action again.. so its very disturbing in my life.. and the itchiness of my eczema problem on my arms..haiz... Its a SAD thing for us(sufferers) that it has NO cure.cookie77cookie:
Oh! Thx schellen! Poor me...i gt both Hives and Eczema..so irritating...its so disturbing..
Oh dear! I hope you have meds/creams that actually work. I myself try my best to avoid hives from occurring as I do not want to rely on meds/creams too much, especially if they contain steroids. -

I agree with cookie77cookie. After seeing GP for a few times on different occasions for my DD's red, itchy bumps, and receiving various creams for it, there was still no improvement. So in the end, we made an appt at the National Skin Centre. The specialist there diagnosed that my DD was suffering from hives brought about by insect bites. After receiving another cream for it which actually worked, we set about to prevent the problem from happening to reduce the occurrence of hives. Seeing the specialist was expensive but really worth it.
Check with you ya...is hives call '' FENG MO'' in chinese? -

RE: Ouch! Insects Bites
Make sure you clear your pots or pails ,get rid of all the water to prevent the growth in numbers of mozzie…
You can buy mosquito patch from guardian or 7-11,it can help to prevent mozzie from your child,or for long term wise,i think you better get those plug in light/sound buzzer to be place near your child bed or room…
Good Luck! -

If the Paediatrician doesn't help, why not try gg to the National Skin Centre.Hii all my 6 year old boy has been scratching himself all over and tiny tiny red bumps have formed from the neck to his thighs.. he cant sleep well in the nights vos of the itchiness. I brought him to Kids Link and was given a lotion to apply ,,it wasnt so good so I brought him to NUH..he was given some aqueous cream to apply..i did so ,he was alright for a few days and the rashes became worse... i dont know if I should bring him back to NUH or somewhere else ? Can anyone advise ?
Thanks
I myself is still suffering from Eczema for years... and my doc told me that actually children are more prone to have it rather then adults...
A Skin specialist will be able to diagnose better and advance med will be given for your child.
Hope your child Have a speedy Recovery!
