Hi anyone can recommend a Chinese tutor or tuition centre for secondary level ?


My son, who is in Sec 1 this year, goes for chinese tuition at a tuition chain in North East, but still fail by a few marks. I find this tuition centre not very professional as when we signed up, the class was taught by the centre’s vice principal, however, halfway they change the teacher and did not even inform the parents. I only learnt it from my son. He has been attending for almost a year now and really not much improvement.

I am an parent who is affected by the new JC issue and hence, my interest in reading this thread. However, I feel like I am in a court session, reading pages of arguments and arguments between lawyers, some to the level of being personal and unrelated to the new JC anymore.

Please spare us from reading all these endless stream of arguments as seriously I am only concerned about "constructive" ideas and solutions that will genuinely solve the problem. Thank you very much.

There is a letter from MOE regarding the new JC uploaded on the sch website. From my understanding, the holding site at Mt Sinai looks like a reality despite the protest from parents. Also there is no mention of any engagement session with parents to further discuss this matter.

Just an update, we went to transfer the value from old card to the new one and we were allowed to keep the old card but with 2 holes punched

My DD received her new Ez link card sometime 1st wk of April. Wanted to top up her new card at ticketing machine and encountered the error message so I told her to approach the passenger service counter another day when she take bus home. She told me there is a notice saying that the newly issued cards can only be used on 1 May onwards. Meanwhile she is still using her primary Ez link car. Can any parent verify this? Thanks.
